Honeywell flame scanners detect burner flame and send a signal to the burner control's flame amplifier. Scanner selection must match the amplifier installed in your 7800 Series control. The C7027A1049 Mini-Peeper is the most widely used UV scanner — 1/2" NPT, 0°F to 215°F, UL/FM/CSA. The C7927 is a solid state UV (ultraviolet) scanner used with R7851 amplifiers.
