Belimo TF Series — AC 100–240V spring return damper actuator for line-voltage applications. 22 in-lb [2.5 Nm], spring return (fail-safe), on/off control. The TFB120-S adds 1x SPDT auxiliary switch. The TFB120-SR provides 2–10V modulating control. Despite the "120" in the model name, the TFB series accepts AC 100–240V (range: 85–265V AC) — suitable for 120V, 208V, and 240V AC systems. CCV · Hydronic B2 / B3 Series — Characterized Control Valves

Belimo B2 (2-way) and B3 (3-way) Characterized Control Valves. A special characterizing disc inside the valve controls flow increase as the valve opens, providing equal percentage flow characteristics similar to a globe valve — without the pressure drop penalty. Overcomes the S-shaped flow curve of conventional ball valves for smooth part-load behavior and optimized energy consumption. Brass body with stainless steel ball and stem. Female NPT connections. Available in 1/2" through 3" pipe sizes with a range of Cv values. The B347 (2" 3-way, Cv 29) is a commonly ordered model. Compatible with RB, TF, AF, and CQ series actuators.

Valve Actuator CQ Series — Modulating Valve Actuators

Belimo CQ Series modulating valve actuators for use with Belimo B2 and B3 characterized control valves. The CQKB24-RR is a 24V modulating (2–10V) valve actuator. The "-RR" suffix indicates it is a replacement part. CQKB24-S-RR adds an auxiliary switch. CQKB24-SR-RR provides spring return fail-safe operation. Used to upgrade existing Belimo valve bodies with new actuators, or to replace actuators on installed B2/B3 valve assemblies without removing the valve body from the piping.

Belimo G Series globe valves for hydronic and gas applications. The G series covers globe-style valves for steam, hot water, chilled water, and gas control in commercial and industrial applications. What is the difference between Belimo LF and AF series damper actuators?

The main difference is torque. LF Series — 35 in-lb [4 Nm], AC/DC 24V, for small to medium commercial dampers. AF Series — 180 in-lb [20 Nm], AC/DC 24V, for larger dampers where 35 in-lb is insufficient. Both series are available in spring return (fail-safe) and non-spring return, and in on/off, modulating (2–10V), and MFT configurable variants. The AFBUP variant accepts AC 24–240V or DC 24–125V — useful for replacement applications where the original voltage is unknown.

What does spring return mean on a Belimo actuator?

Spring return means an internal spring drives the actuator and damper to a defined position (open or closed) if power is lost — also called fail-safe. Required by code for smoke dampers, fire dampers, outdoor air dampers, and other applications where the damper must move to a safe position on power failure. Non-spring return (non-fail-safe) actuators hold their last position when power is lost — acceptable for economizer and return air dampers where a defined fail position is not code-required.

What is a Belimo Characterized Control Valve and how is it different from a standard ball valve?
