Antunes is our largest pressure switch line with 312 products across two major families:
JD-2 Air Differential Pressure Switches — the most widely used air differential pressure switch in commercial boiler and burner applications. Color-coded by pressure range for easy identification: Red, Orange, Purple, Yellow, Blue, Green, and other variants covering 0.1" to 10" W.C. Available in SPDT and DPDT configurations with 1/8" NPT or Harrison connector ports. Auto-reset and manual-reset versions.
HLGP / RHGP Gas Pressure Switches — high/low gas pressure safety switches for commercial boilers and burners. The HLGP-A has two SPDT contacts (2-SPDT) combining high and low gas pressure proving in one unit with 3/8" NPT high pressure and 1/8" NPT low pressure connections. The HLGP-D is the dual-range version with extended setpoint ranges. Manual reset (HLGP) and auto reset (RHLGP/RHGP) available. Required by ASME CSD-1 and NFPA 85 on commercial boilers.
Honeywell C6097 combustion air pressure switches are used on commercial and industrial boilers and burners to prove combustion air flow before and during burner operation. Available in break-on-rise (C6097B) and break-on-fall (C6097A) configurations with auto-reset and manual-reset options. Pressure ranges from 0.4" to 200" W.C. All models feature 1/4" NPT connection.
The C6097 is required by ASME CSD-1 on commercial boilers as a combustion air proving switch — it verifies that combustion air is flowing before allowing the burner to fire, preventing unsafe operation with insufficient air.
Cleveland Controls manufactures air flow switches, air pressure switches, and air proving switches for commercial HVAC, boiler, and industrial applications. Their product line covers the FS-751 air flow switch series, NS2 adjustable pressure switch series, AFS air flow switch series, and DDP/DFS differential pressure switch series — commonly used for proving combustion air, duct air flow, and fan operation in boiler rooms and HVAC equipment.

Antunes JD-2 air differential pressure switches are color-coded by pressure range — the color identifies which switch you need without measuring. Common color codes and their pressure ranges:
| Color | Pressure Range | Part Number | Reset Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red (JD-2R) | 0.1–24" W.C. | 801111303 | Auto Reset, SPDT |
| Orange (JD-2O) | 0.1–4.0" W.C. | 801111315 | Auto Reset, SPDT |
| Purple (JD-2P) | 0.1–10.0" W.C. | 801111310 | Auto Reset, SPDT |
| Grey (JD-2G) | 0.1–4.0" W.C. | 801111302 | Auto Reset, SPDT |
| Blue (JD-2B) | 0.07–1.7" W.C. | 801111301 | Auto Reset, SPDT |
| Black (JD-2) | Adjustable, see product | 801111318 | Auto Reset, SPDT |
Note: The Antunes JD-2 product line is now manufactured by Crossroads Controls (acquired from Antunes in 2017) but continues to be sold under the Antunes/JD-2 name. Not sure which color you need? Contact us or call (901) 458-2000.
Prove combustion air flow, fan operation, or duct air pressure. Antunes JD-2 color-coded series (0.1"–10" W.C.) and Cleveland Controls FS-751 and NS2 series for boilers and HVAC.
High and low gas pressure safety switches required by ASME CSD-1 and NFPA 85 on commercial boilers. Antunes HLGP-A (2-SPDT, manual reset), RHLGP (auto reset), and RHGP (high gas only) series with high/low gas pressure proving in one unit.
Verify combustion air is flowing before and during burner operation. Honeywell C6097A (break-on-fall) and C6097B (break-on-rise) in pressure ranges from 0.4" to 200" W.C., 1/4" NPT.
Manual reset switches require operator action after a trip event — preferred where the cause must be investigated before restart. Auto reset switches restore automatically when pressure returns to normal range.
Single Pole Double Throw — the standard configuration for most JD-2, C6097, and HLGP pressure switches. Provides one normally-open and one normally-closed contact for flexible circuit control in boiler management applications.
Break-on-rise (C6097B) opens the circuit when pressure rises above setpoint. Break-on-fall (C6097A) opens when pressure falls below setpoint. Selection depends on whether the switch proves presence or absence of pressure/flow.
Explore our extensive range of pressure switches designed to deliver optimal performance across various applications. Our pressure switches are engineered for precision and reliability, ensuring your systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Perfect for a multitude of industries, these switches play a crucial role in pressure monitoring, control, and automation, providing peace of mind and consistency to your operations.

What is the Antunes JD-2 pressure switch used for?
The Antunes JD-2 is an air differential pressure switch widely used on commercial boilers and burners to prove combustion air flow. It senses the pressure difference across a combustion air blower — if the differential drops below the setpoint, it opens the circuit and shuts down the burner. JD-2 switches are color-coded by pressure range: Red/JD-2R (0.1–24" W.C.), Orange/JD-2O (0.1–4.0" W.C.), Purple/JD-2P (0.1–10.0" W.C.), Grey/JD-2G (0.1–4.0" W.C.), Blue/JD-2B (0.07–1.7" W.C.). All standard models are auto-reset SPDT with 1/8" NPT connections. Note: the Antunes JD-2 line is now manufactured by Crossroads Controls (acquired 2017) but sold under the same part numbers.
What is the difference between the Antunes HLGP-A and HLGP-D?
Both Antunes HLGP switches provide combined high and low gas pressure safety monitoring. The HLGP-A has two SPDT contacts (2-SPDT) — it combines high and low gas pressure proving in one unit with separate 3/8" NPT high pressure and 1/8" NPT low pressure connections. The HLGP-D provides extended setpoint ranges for different pressure applications. Manual-reset (HLGP) requires operator action after a trip; auto-reset (RHLGP) restores automatically when pressure returns to range.
What is the difference between the Honeywell C6097A and C6097B?
Both are Honeywell C6097 combustion air pressure switches but they trip in opposite directions. C6097A breaks on pressure fall — opens the circuit when pressure drops below setpoint, used to prove air flow is present. C6097B breaks on pressure rise — opens when pressure rises above setpoint, used where the switch must open on high pressure. Both available in auto-reset and manual-reset, pressure ranges 0.4" to 200" W.C., 1/4" NPT connection.
Why do commercial boilers require gas pressure switches?
ASME CSD-1 and NFPA 85 require gas pressure switches on commercial boilers to verify that gas pressure is within the acceptable operating range. A high gas pressure switch prevents firing if gas pressure is too high; a low gas pressure switch prevents firing if pressure is too low — either condition could result in an unsafe combustion event. Antunes HLGP and RHLGP switches combine both functions in a single unit, simplifying installation and wiring.
What is an air proving switch?
An air proving switch verifies that combustion air flow is established before allowing a burner or boiler to fire. It senses the pressure differential across the combustion air blower to confirm air movement — if the fan fails or loses capacity, the pressure drops and the switch prevents ignition or shuts down the burner. Honeywell C6097, Antunes JD-2, and Cleveland Controls FS-751 and NS2 switches are all commonly used as air proving switches on commercial boilers.
