Overview
The Bell & Gossett ATF-24 Airtrol Fitting (Part No. 112013) is designed to optimize the performance of 24-inch diameter compression tanks in hydronic heating systems. It ensures the correct initial liquid level during system fill-up and facilitates proper system pressurization by directing air released during operation back into the compression tank.
Additionally, the fitting allows cooler system fluid to flow back to the boiler during off cycles, preventing thermal stress and promoting system longevity. This fitting must be paired with a properly sized Inline Airtrol or Rolairtrol air separator for optimal operation.
