Description
The Bell & Gossett 110122 (790-36) is a high-performance ASME-certified safety relief valve designed to protect fired and unfired hot water vessels from overpressure. Built with a bronze body and EPDM diaphragm-assisted design, it ensures reliable performance and superior durability.
Engineered in compliance with Section IV of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, and certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, this valve delivers enhanced safety and peace of mind for heating system operators.
Unlike conventional pop-type valves, the diaphragm design provides a significantly larger effective operating area—about 5 times greater—resulting in better responsiveness and resistance to fouling. A unique fail-safe disc maintains pressure relief functionality even in the event of diaphragm rupture.
