Overview
The Bell & Gossett 110034 (Model 4100-30) is a high-capacity ASME safety relief valve designed to safeguard hot water heating systems from dangerous overpressure. Built from durable cast iron with brass internal wetted parts, this valve offers exceptional performance, long service life, and a BTU capacity among the highest in its class.
This relief valve is engineered to meet Section IV of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and is certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. It features a diaphragm-operated EPDM seat that delivers an effective area approximately 5 times larger than conventional pop-type valves, significantly reducing fouling and ensuring reliable operation.
A low pressure differential between opening and reseating also minimizes water flashing and prevents water hammer conditions.
